Engineer - from the Latin 'ingeniator' which was derived from the Latin words 'ingeniare' (to contrive, devise) and ingenium (cleverness) - so engineers 'cleverly devise'. I've spent most of my career in IT, working with infrastructure - networking, compute/storage, data centers, etc. with a focus on network, primarily optical networking. {more to come!}
